As a consequence, the electrical grid sees much higher power variability than in the past, challenging its frequency and voltage regulation. Energy storage systems will be fundamental for ensuring the energy supply and the voltage power quality to customers.
It is imperative to acknowledge the pivotal role of energy storage in shaping the future of power systems. Energy storage technologies have gained significant traction owing to their potential to enhance flexibility, reliability, and efficiency within the power sector.
