The battery liquid cooling heat dissipation structure uses liquid, which carries away the heat generated by the battery through circulating flow, thereby achieving heat dissipation effect (Yi et al., 2022).
The research outcomes indicated that the heat dissipation efficiency, reliability, and optimization speed of the liquid cooled heat dissipation structure optimization method for vehicle mounted energy storage batteries based on NSGA-II were 0.78, 0.76, 0.82, 0.86, and 0.79, respectively, which were higher than those of other methods.
Bulut et al. conducted predictive research on the effect of battery liquid cooling structure on battery module temperature using an artificial neural network model. The research results indicated that the power consumption reduced by 22.4% through optimization. The relative error of the prediction results was less than 1% (Bulut et al., 2022).
By reviewing recent research results on battery liquid cooling systems, they pointed out that an effective cooling system was crucial for extending battery life. This system effectively effected the temperature in terms of difference and peak between batteries (Kalaf et al., 2021).
Karthik et al. learned and put forward a novel plate liquid battery thermal managing solution to address the abnormal temperature in automotive energy storage batteries under extreme working conditions.
