Battery cabinet power test

Our battery test chambers are designed to test Lithium Ion batteries, lead acid, Battery Managements Systems (BMS), battery packs, modules, battery cells, and more. Our battery test chambers also offer many safety features that conform to IEC, UL and EUCAR testing standards for battery safety.

This testing determines battery power capability over the cell's usable voltage range. It is a test profile that incorporates both discharge and regeneration pulses that take place at various states of charge (SOC), and which can be performed under various temperature stressors and current loads.

NI's Battery Test Systems are designed for fully independent operation. Additional 100kW cabinets can be run synchronously in parallel up to 2.4MW/8000A, increasing the maximum power and current capability to the level required. This modular expansion allows you to scale power as needed (Fig. 2).
